RYZE Is a free public charter school open to students in North Carolina.

The school plans to open in the Fall of 2026 with grades K-4.  An additional grade will be added every year, making us a K-8 school.

Yes, RYZE will support children with IEPs and 504 plans. We are committed to providing the accommodations and services necessary to met each student's individual needs and help them thrive academically and socially. 

Yes! Ryze will offer both breakfast and lunch, provided daily by professional caterers to ensure fresh and nutritious meals for our students. 

While Ryze Charter Academy will not directly provide after-school services, we are partnering with an award-winning program to offer high-quality, on-site enrichment. This trusted organization will deliver a fun, safe, and engaging experience focused on academics, creativity, and social development. Services will run Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, including early release and teacher workdays. We’re excited to share more soon, but for now, know that your child will be in great hands!

At Ryze, we believe in starting strong and staying engaged all day. A typical day begins with Brain Breakfast, giving students a calm, nourishing start. We follow that with Morning Circle, where we set the tone for the day and build community.

From there, our academic blocks include:

• Morning Recess for movement and a mental reset
• ELA
• Math
• Lunch followed by Afternoon Recess
• Core Knowledge History & Geography
• Core Knowledge Science

We end the day with Enrichment, where students explore interests and develop skills beyond the core subjects—such as the arts, physical activity, or entrepreneurship
